How the Bag Draft works
What do I do?
Each month is a Major. Draft six real products, one per slot, at today’s lowest UK prices, within £1,500. Then let the real prices do the rest.
How does scoring work?
Every £1 a pick’s price falls is a point; rises cost points. A pick at the lowest price we’ve tracked earns 10 bonus points. One transfer a week, and one lock per Major to bank a pick’s points for good.
Who can see my bag?
Nobody, until the draft closes on the 7th. Then bags are revealed to your leagues, and the national leaderboard shows nicknames and points only.
What’s double points week?
In November, Black Friday week (Monday to Sunday) is double points: every £1 a pick drops during that week scores 2 points instead of 1. Rises still cost the usual 1. A pick you transfer in that week earns double from the day you sign it.
What is fantasy golf kit?
Like fantasy football, but with golf gear. You pick a bag of real products at real UK prices, and when their prices fall in real shops over the month, you score points. Free, no sign-up.
Can I play the Bag Draft with my mates?
Yes. Start a league, share one link in the group chat, and everyone’s bag goes on your league table. Nicknames only.
Do I need an account?
No. No email, no password, no app. Your bag is saved on your device; use Play on another device to bring it to a second phone or laptop.
Is there a prize?
Glory only: no money, no stakes, free to play, and no real golf bags (sorry). Each league champion gets their name engraved on a picture of that month’s themed bag: a champion’s card to share, and a place in their Locker Room. The national champion goes in the Hall of Fame.
