How the checker decides
Where do the prices come from?
From our own record of UK golf prices. We check every listing at the retailers we track every 6 hours and keep every price, which is where the low, high and average come from.
What does each verdict mean?
Excellent: at or below the lowest we’ve tracked. Good: at or below today’s best new price. Fair: below its usual price, but cheaper is available today. High: above its usual price.
Why isn’t my product listed?
The checker covers every model with a price page: clubs, balls, bags, rangefinders, GPS watches, trolleys and launch monitors with enough price history to be useful. More are added automatically as we track them for longer.
Does it include second-hand prices?
No. It compares against new, in-stock prices only. Second-hand and ex-demo prices are shown separately on each price page.
